Irrfan Khan is no more. This morning, we lost one of the most talented actors of Indian cinema, who not only enthralled the viewers in our country with spectacular performances one after the other, but even amazed the audiences globally. After fighting a long battle with neuroendocrine cancer, the actor breathed his last on April 29, 2020 at Kokilaben Ambani hospital, Mumbai.

The whole nation is deeply saddened and the film industry is mourning over his loss. Actor Nana Patekar who was his co-star in the film Salaam Bombay, while speaking exclusively to SpotboyE said, “Behtareen insaa, behtareen actor. Hamesha yaad aayegi uski.”

Irrfan and Nana were always appreciative of each other's work. Once, during a discussion about National Awards, Irrfan had wished that Nana Patekar won the National Award for his performance in Natasamrat, a Marathi film that was critically acclaimed. "Outstanding film. I think it should've won the National Award for Nanaji. Anyway, I wasn't in the jury,” Irrfan had said at the screening of Sairat.
